About the Hoardmaw Mimic
The Hoardmaw Mimic has stopped pretending. Its lid stands hinged wide into a broad toothy maw, a fat wine-red tongue lolling over the front edge, four stubby clawed legs braced against pale flagstone. Brass bands and a heavy lock plate still read as an ordinary chest from behind — which is the entire point. Bone-white coins spill across the base as bait nobody needed to reset.
