Sculpted hunched over a planted cane with the cauldron resting on the base, this green hag reads as the smallest and most compact silhouette in the set — a deliberate contrast to the standing figures around it. The bone-white hair mass and pale shawl take up the whole upper third of the model, which is what keeps the mottled olive skin from going murky. The brass charms are stitched flat to the shawl rather than strung on cords, so nothing on the finished piece can catch or tear.
