No More Starting Over: Direct Image Editing Is Coming to JuJuBit

We’re building a simpler way to refine your generated design before turning it into a 3D figurine.

Creating something personal rarely happens in a single attempt.

You may love the character’s face but want to change the outfit. The pose may feel right, but the hairstyle needs a small adjustment. Sometimes the design is almost perfect—and only one detail stands between the generated image and the creation you imagined.

At JuJuBit, we believe a small change should not require you to start over.

That is why we are developing a new editing experience that will allow customers to make changes directly to an existing generated image.

The Problem We’re Solving

Until now, refining a generated design could require creating another version from the beginning.

This made simple adjustments feel more complicated than they should. A new generation could change parts of the image that the customer already liked, making it harder to preserve the original character while improving one specific detail.

For a custom creation, that loss of control matters.

Customers should be able to continue working from the design they selected—not repeatedly restart the entire creative process.

Edit the Design You Already Love

With the upcoming Edit feature, customers will be able to select a generated image and describe what they want to change directly on the product page.

For example, you may ask to:

• Change the hairstyle or clothing

• Adjust the pose or expression

• Add or remove an accessory

• Refine a specific visual detail

• Use an additional reference image to guide the change

The edited result will be created from the selected design, helping preserve the parts you already like while focusing on the requested adjustment.

Instead of going back to the beginning, you can continue moving forward from your best version.

More Control, Less Repetition

This feature is designed to make customization feel more flexible and intuitive.

You will be able to compare different versions, return to an earlier result, and continue editing from the image that best represents your idea.

That means:

• Fewer unnecessary regenerations

• More control over individual details

• A clearer design history

• An easier path from idea to final confirmation

Our goal is not simply to add another button. It is to create a more natural conversation between you and the creative tool.

Building the Experience Carefully

Direct editing brings an important technical challenge: changing one element without unnecessarily changing everything else.

We are currently improving how the system understands specific editing requests, preserves character consistency, manages reference images, and displays different versions across desktop and mobile devices.

We are also working to make the editing process easy to understand directly from the product page, so customers can move smoothly between creating, reviewing, editing, and ordering.

The feature is still in development. We are testing and refining it before making it broadly available.

From “Almost Right” to “This Is It”

A custom figurine should feel personal before it ever enters production.

By allowing customers to refine an existing image directly, we hope to reduce uncertainty and give every creator more confidence in the design they choose to turn into a physical object.
