About the Challenge

The JuJuBit Campus Creator Challenge is an online 3D creation challenge for students at U.S. colleges and universities. This edition’s theme, Make It Personal, invites you to use JuJuBit to turn an idea into a 3D creation and explain who it serves, how it would be used, and why it matters.

Choose one primary direction:

  • Campus & Community: Express the shared identity or memories of a school, club, city, or community.
  • Personal Expression: Bring your experiences, relationships, cultural identity, or personal aesthetic into physical form.
  • Daily Life: Improve an experience in using, wearing, gifting, displaying, or socializing.

All directions share the same judging process and prize pool. Ideas spanning multiple directions are welcome.

No professional 3D modeling experience is required. JuJuBit is an AI-powered creation tool designed for everyone. The challenge welcomes beginners, and the judging criteria include whether non-professional users can understand and participate in similar creation.

Eligibility & Teams

The challenge is open to students enrolled at a U.S. college or university at the submission deadline. You do not need to attend USC, and eligibility is based on your school’s location, not your nationality.

International students, exchange students, and students in online programs are welcome. Graduates, faculty, staff, and other non-students are not eligible.

You may enter individually or in a team of up to 3 people. Cross-school teams are welcome, and every member must meet the student eligibility requirements.

Each student may participate in only one individual entry or team. Any external guidance or assistance must be disclosed.

Provide your school email, a valid student ID, or proof of enrollment. You may hide information unrelated to eligibility, such as your student ID number or date of birth.

Verification materials are used only to confirm eligibility, reviewed by designated staff, and deleted within the period specified in the challenge’s privacy terms.

Creating & Submitting

There is no entry fee. JuJuBit’s standard pricing and available credits apply when creating your work. Participation does not automatically include extra generation credits, credit resets, or free memberships. Any additional benefits will be announced separately.

Yes. Your entry must include a 3D creation or substantial iteration completed with JuJuBit. You may use other design tools to assist, but you must explain how JuJuBit contributed to your work. Projects created entirely with other tools do not qualify.

Yes, but you must use JuJuBit to make substantial new additions or iterations. Explain the original version, what you changed for this challenge, and the tools and materials used.

Simply importing a finished project, taking screenshots, or making minor edits does not qualify.

Your initial submission must include:

  • Project title and primary creation direction.
  • A JuJuBit work link or clear screenshots.
  • A 100–300 word English description explaining your idea, target users, usage scenario, and how you used JuJuBit.
  • Team details: every member’s name, school, enrollment status, contact email, and contribution.
  • Required declarations: existing work and new additions, AI tools and material sources, and acceptance of the challenge rules.

A presentation deck, user testing, or printable model is not required for the initial submission. Shortlisted teams will later submit a 6–8 page PDF and digital showcase.

If you submit screenshots, you must still be able to verify your JuJuBit creation source. Shortlisted teams will be asked to provide an accessible link or creation records.

You must own or have permission to use your work and all source materials. Disclose any AI tools, third-party materials, and external assistance used.

Do not submit unauthorized characters, brands, or other people’s work. School and club logos, as well as personal likenesses, require appropriate permission. Unauthorized use may result in disqualification.

Yes, before November 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST. Your last complete submission before the deadline will be reviewed.

After the deadline, your work version and team identity information are locked. Any permitted corrections cannot substantially replace or change your project.

Judging & Prizes

Your entry will go through an eligibility check and initial review. Shortlisted teams will be notified on November 12 and must confirm participation within 48 hours.

If shortlisted, you will submit a 6–8 page PDF and digital showcase by November 17, covering your idea, target users, design process, application, feedback, and next steps. Non-commercial ideas are welcome.

Online pitches are scheduled for November 19–20. Each team presents for 5 minutes, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A. Time slots are coordinated around availability; submitting earlier gives no judging advantage.

If you cannot attend live, an equal-length recording with online Q&A may be accepted under conditions announced before the pitch.

Entries are evaluated across five criteria:

  • Expression & Insight — 20%
  • Aesthetics & 3D Expression — 25%
  • Application Value & Feasibility — 25%
  • Creativity & Innovation — 20%
  • Accessibility for General Users — 10%

All creation directions share the same judging process. Final scores are based on the supplemental materials and online pitch; initial review scores do not carry over. There is no public-voting award.

The challenge offers US$1,800 in total cash prizes:

  • Grand Champion — US$800
  • Best Creative Expression — US$400
  • Best Application Solution — US$400
  • JuJuBit Special Award — US$200

Each team can receive one cash award.

Up to 4 teams may also receive physical production support: one piece per team, no more than 8 cm on its longest side, subject to technical feasibility, costing confirmation, and final approval. Priority goes to producible winning projects.

Your design does not need to be printable to qualify for the Grand Champion, Best Creative Expression, or Best Application Solution awards. Production feasibility is required for the JuJuBit Special Award and physical production support.

Results are scheduled for November 23, 2026. Cash award winners and teams selected for physical production support will be announced on the activity page.

Pitch and results schedules are subject to final confirmation. Check the activity page and your email for updates.
